How We Use Your Information

The information stored locally on your device is used solely to:

• Track your exercise progress and streaks
• Save your vision test results so you can monitor changes over time

• Send you local reminders and 20-20-20 break notifications (if enabled)
• Provide access to premium content (if subscribed to Orby Plus)

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on your device. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Since your data is stored locally, you maintain complete control over it. Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data from your device.

App Stores:
If you download Orby from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, their respective privacy policies apply to any information they collect.

Payment Processing:
If you purchase an Orby Plus subscription, payment processing is handled by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android), and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier to validate your purchase; you can review their practices in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Analytics:
We do not use any analytics or advertising services. Your usage of the app is never tracked.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Orby uses your device's local notification system to send you scheduled exercise reminders or 20-20-20 screen break alerts. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. You can disable them at any time in the app settings or your device settings. No personal information is transmitted when scheduling notifications.

Health Disclaimer

Orby stores your self-administered vision test results locally so you can track them over time. These results are for informational and wellness purposes only. Orby is not a medical device, and the data it stores does not constitute a medical record or diagnosis. Please consult an eye care professional for any concerns about your vision.

Children's Privacy

Orby is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — or from anyone else, since all data remains on the device. If a child uses the app under parental supervision, all of their data stays on that device under the parent's control.

• Access your data (all progress and test data is accessible within the app)
• Delete your data (clear app data or uninstall the app)
• Modify your settings and preferences at any time
• Opt-out of notifications at any time
